I tested the new patch on r21536 under qemu and it was quite noticeable, at
least in rosperf.  I ran 'rosperf text' at 800x600 16bpp VBE driver. Both the
guest and host were at 16bpp, and kqemu was disabled.  Without the patch, I got
~17reps/sec, with the patch it was nearly an order of magnitude faster, so much
so the rosperf output was mangled by the match bug we have (it reported
117.Dreps/sec).  I did see the "Command Prompt" painting issue.  I would like to
see the patch get more testing, and at least that bug sorted out. Good patch!
