I have a computer with an older motherboard, BIOS date 11/27/2000. It does have 
ACPI support. When installing ReactOS, the last screen it shows reads like this.

This may take a minute
When finished, your computer will reboot automatically






Flushing Cache

The computer never restarts, even the Setup Wizard, which appears after 
restart, cannot restart the computer, but a blue screen with a flashing cursor 
appears instead.

This motherboard is a Procomp BIS2M, BIOS revision 1.1
