testing with r22727 :
- regedit /s regfile.reg
/s switch is ignored for now, see below.

- regedit /e output.reg "HKEY_Local_Machine\"
wont work until you give correct name "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
could you retry and report ?

- regedit regfile.reg
good  :  the file is imported.

Bad : trying to view the created entries makes regedit crash atm.
