Commit 22751 was agreed to be reverted by: Usurp, Mirgenhol, AlexIonescu and
Christoph_vW. 

Also maybe commit 22752 should be reverted. The problems that were in this
area, got already fixed by 22742: "Christoph_vW: 'janderwalds last commit fixed
it'"

This is noted here so that those patches don't get lost.
