I do, I do ...
I made SETUPLDR.SYS now the fourth time - I'm successfully behind loading
blue.sys !

The effect of "serial port shoots out senseless CHARS" happens inbetween or
after
  DiskStopFloppyMotor();
  MachVideoPrepareForReactOS();
  FrLdrStartup(0x2badb002);

in SETUPLDR.C / function VOID RunLoader(VOID)

As I did only printf( inbetween and did first stop after FrLdrStartup
it is not clear which of these three functions do cause the problem.

More to this maybe tomorrow .. but I think it will get sunday :-)
