------- Comment #8 from mail at colinfinck.de 2007-07-23 20:47 CET -------
Problem is still in r27791.

I get these "You need to reboot" messages again and again, but at some reboots
they also don't appear. But when they appear again, a new GUID key will be
created in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services.

Next problem: The network adapter isn't shown in the Network Adapter Control
Panel. I have to manually add a "Characteristics" value in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318}\0001.
Then the network adapter is shown, but I still cannot get to the TCP/IP
Properties page.

Now when I try to manually enter my static IP settings in the Registry
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\[GUID]\Parameters\Tcpip) and
reboot, I still cannot access the network.

ipconfig also outputs ERROR_MOD_NOT_FOUND.
