1) lot of fixes: notepad can be compiled as non unicode application; some
redundant things have been simplified too. Now it runs well on Win9x too.
2) UNICODE and _UNICODE macros have been moved from notepad.h to notepad.rbuild
3) Unfortunately, it seems that the resource file cannot be open by Visual
Studio resource manager, it says:

lang/bg-BG.rc (150): warning RC4206 : title string too long; truncated at 256
lang/sk-SK.rc (108): warning RC4206 : title string too long; truncated at 256

Not fixed yet... I prefer to not touch the languages that I don't understand.
