--- Comment #2 from Conny <super.conny at gmx.de> 2007-09-07 23:30:22 CET ---
I use the following hardware:
Mainboard ASUS K8V-X (AMD Socket 754, VIA chip set), AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 1 GB
RAM
On-board:
Marvel-Yukon Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000,
SoundMAX integrated audio,
standard gameport,
COM1
AGP:
ATI Radeon 9600 pro graphic card
PCI:
Pinnacle PCTV Pro video card
IDE:
Primary:
Execstore HD J680 (78 GB)
Secondary:
Device 0: LG DVDRAM GSA-4040B
Device 1: Seagate ST 3660A (520 MB)
SATA:
Maxtor 7 L300S0 HD (286 GB)
USB:
Multi-format card reader (CF/MS/SD/SM cards)
Other:
Floppy disk 3.5"

I first tried the life cd which is just working (working devices: IDE drives,
floppy disk, graphic card in Vesa mode, keyboard, mouse).
The I tried to install from boot cd, where I got the described errors.
I made two tries:
- first try: I put no driver disk into dvd drive, resulting in Reactos couldn't
initialize SoundMAX, PCTV, SATA, Ethernet, graphic card. The described error
happened.
- second try: I put in a cd containing drivers for SoundMAX, PCTV and Ethernet.
while SoundMAX and PCTV drivers are reported as being installed, Ethernet
driver require reboot (even if they have been installed during the last boot).
In this configuration, the described error occurs, too.
