I tried the eventvwr app under Windows XP SP2 and found an important bug: When 
I click on Log --> Security and then again on Log --> Application, the app 
crashes reproducably for me.

Also it compiles with many warnings under RosBE.

Would be nice if you could squash out these issues, then I can commit the code.
