Talked with gabriel_it on IRC now, for him the new version works.
I also tried it under a Windows XP SP2 virtual machine, same problem.

Maybe it has to do with the operating system language (my XP systems are all
german).

I first thought of an overflow problem, but gabriel_it's Application Event Log
has 2520 events and mine has "just" 1757, so this can't be the problem...
