After the changes made by hpoussin in rev. 29116 this is what happens on the
same computer I tested ros before:

The new hardware wizard for the ethernet card (3c905b) comes up, I point it to
the drivers path, it installs them, tells me to reboot, I reboot and after
rebooting the new hardware wizard always pops up finding the ethernet card
asking me to install the driver (it doesn't say anymore it needs to reboot to
make it function properly). No nic card in the device manager. Debug log will
follow.
