I'd say it's a limitation of our setup boot loader, which is hard-coded to
believe it started from a CD-ROM, and passes a non-existing boot path to the
kernel. This is not exactly a bug, though - you simply are not using the boot
loader in the intended way. Confirmed but downgraded to "enhancement", sorry
