I just tested Deux Ex Game of the Year Edition on Qemu .9.1 on Ubuntu 8.04
64-bit. Although there may have been an issue with running the installer, or
with ReactOS itself later on in the installation (the screen became corrupted,)
this installer startup issue did not occur.

If you tried out the Game of the Year edition for Deus Ex, then I can confirm
that the bug you observed has been fixed over the course of development. If you
tried out the original version, then it may or may not be fixed and we ask that
you please test it out on the latest snapshots of .3.6 available at:
http://reactos.colinfinck.de
Either way, let us know what version of Deus Ex you used.
