i started warcraft 3 by a shortcut from an iso image in virtualbox 3.0.6.
the shortcut was created under windows 
"D:\games\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe" -opengl
( -window is sometimes buggy)
warcraft loads and goes up to the menu.the a box appears "unable to initialsize
basic sound services".
i set [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft
III\Sound]"nosoundwarn"=dword:00000001 which works under windows.
anyway wc3 under reactos does not care about it and crashes after a minute.
blizzard removed the cd protection a few months ago so there is no original cd
needed.

getting wc3 running would cause incredible good screenshots of what reactos is
able to do.
