This issue is introduced in revision 44679. Before that revision, the "closing
service" window is created but app freezes, with:

(lib/rtl/heap.c:1012) Heap 00630000: invalid in-use arena magic for 006321D8
(lib/rtl/heap.c:1012) Heap 00630000: invalid in-use arena magic for 00632230
(lib/rtl/heap.c:1012) Heap 00630000: invalid in-use arena magic for 006321D8

spamming the debug log.
