I'm experiencing this problem only with an app, it's an online poker client. 
When i try to login and insert my credentials in the appropriate fields, every
letter of my username or password is repeated 4 times, for example, instead of
"r3ddr4g0n", my username is written as "rrrr3333ddddddddrrrr4444gggg0000nnnn".

Install this: http://www.pokerstars.it/PokerStarsInstallIT.exe
It's free and multilanguage.
Open the app and try to login from the button in the right corner.
