Providing .rar is actually far better than providing only .zip, since people
usually value their money.

If you think .rar isn't widespread enough (though it's popularity almost
equals Zip's one), then it's wise to provide both archives - but I don't see
really a purpose for this. Download one time free rar unpacker tool - and
spend twice less on downloading sourcecode.

Anyway we can see what people prefer better - do it with .zip and with .rar,
and sourceforge shows us the statistics for the most downloadable file :-)
