It HAS, and SHOULD work with 32MB. Bug 702..704 or something, filed by 
Alex Ionescu.

Even 20 or 24MB should work fine (though 16MB should be a goal, IMHO, as 
many 486/586 had only 16MB, while 8MB isn't enough for sure)

Testing on VMware gives the limit in 4MB memory blocks. Testing under 
QEMU or Bochs can refine the actually needed amount.
