Look at the new bug description. I added what I can find out about this bug yesterday. I *think* the exception could be resolved adding mising entries to the registry. We should look at the default registry entries of Wine to find them.

I never saw this crash. But may be that's only because I am using Bochs and don't have explorer running long enough to see it since the emulation is really slow.

The strings are present in the executable in three languages: German, English and Romanian. I think the default language setting in the registry is english (for me it's german to use the german keya layout), so there is a problem with LoadString()loading resource strings in the correct language.
