Besides, computer programs don't break like appliances on their own. so even if you did sell it, they don't break on their own, which isn't even your fault. That is never covered under warranty.
Normally, they don't, but they _can_. Recently some mandrake version
broke the burner of lite-on or LG because lite-on/LG changed something in the
API of the drive. Still, it's unlikely, but it _can_ happen.
