[ros-kernel] Anyone else had this problem?

I boot ReactOS 0.2.3 from Win98 DOS, aboot.bat takes me up to:
\SystemRoot\system32\drivers\videoprt.sys: ddcf8000
and hangs.
I boot ReactOS 0.2.3 from Win98 DOS, boot.bat takes me up to:
Loading VBE
and hangs.

Anyone got a clue?  It's a Dell OptiPlex G1.  Surprisingly, I can boot it 
directly into ReactOS with the LiveCD, but I can't install from it.
