Hi,

I think that a diff output is only usable to review small patches.
Currently I'm using a clean source tree and a working source tree. All
changes of our cvs go to to the clean tree. My favorite parts (ntoskrnl,
hal, the disk stack, vfatfs, ntdll, kernel32, msvcrt), I do copy by a
line by line merge. The not so interesting parts, I do copy per file.
I'm using winmerge. I'm a reader of another cvs mailing list (bochs),
which use a diff output. Many mails are very large and only the comments
are interesting for me. Without a adsl connection, this list is not
usable.
