I wanted to do that
for learning the
internals from the
low level.
But avoiding to
reimplement the
wheel sounds
reasonable.
So I change my low
level learning from
HAL to the ROS boot
process.
Maybe I can someday
contribute something
to that.
Last time I tried
ROS, the boot
handling looked
"improvable" to me
:)
But first I have to
understand it a
little bit better
(of course).

Now I've to donwload
and install the new
version of ROS.
ROS won't compile
from Linux, or would
it? And how high is
the pain factor
of doing so
compared to the pain
factor of compiling
ROS on Windows?

Kind regards
Peter Wiehe
