[ros-kernel] Subversion

Hi Steven

We'll also be moving to a system where checkins are tested not to
break
the build by compile errors or regressions (by whatever regression
tests
we have). So I don't think this change will be overnight. Subversion
will probably have a 1.1 out by the time we're confident enough to
change over (and all docs will have to be updated first as well).

Cheers
Jason
