If their DOS system does the job, why would they need ReactOS?

You'd be surprised actually... Even the shop I work in uses a DOS-based sales system.
 
I thought there were 16-bit IRQs? I remember reading something about them, maybe it was 0 - 7 were 8 bit and 8 - 15 were 16 bit.
Can't really remember though...

Not impossible. Just not worth the trouble.
 
Btw. there is no such thing as a 16-bit interrupt.

I can't remember where or when, but I have observed some people discussing how it was impossible for ROS to support 16-bit mode
programs. This is actually quite the opposite. In fact, wine has the interrupt handlers already available on the current cvs in
wine\dlls\winedos.
 
Has anyone already completed the 16-bit interrupts? I hope this can be delivered for the next release.
