It exists a project call The Möbius they are aim to create a windows 9x
opration system
and new version are release every year. and are only one flopy disk big for
monet.
you can not run it in vmware. only on real hardware. and it does not have
any gui.

You are correct, however that wasn't my point.
My point was the reverse - you described the problems of not implementing
part of the API supported by NT. I was simply saying that you can't have NT
compatibility, without first having 9x compatibility to some extent.

Well, you can write a Unicode Win32 application which will
have *severe* problem running on Windows 95 :) IIRC Win95
does not implement most of *W() functions.
So, an ANSI Win32 application will probably run on both
Win9x and WinNT/ReactOS, but a Unicode one may require
WinNT/ReactOS.
