[ros-translate] Antiquated conversation technique?

Antiquated conversation technique?
Arent't mailing-list a antiquated conversation technique today? Isn't it 
better to use a forum like phpbb?
I joined the translation-mailing-list today and then was reading all the 
mail in the archive. This was quite a hard thing to do. Cause the 
threads are not seperated good enought. There are poor possibilities for 
formatting. You never see the thread complete. Sometimes the content of 
the ancester is  quoted, sometimes not. Sometimes this is helpfull, 
sometimes it disturbes! You always get every mail in mailing-lists. Even 
of the threads you are not intrested in. You see, i hate mailing-lists! 
Whats your opinion? Why dont't use a phpbb forum? If its a problem with 
administration, I will do it.
