Re: ReactOS dosn't connect to new router (but still to old o

since my old DSL router is slowly dying I bought a new one (Telekom Speedport Smart). It works on Windows, but when I did test for an (unrelated) driver issue in ReactOS (nightly build) on real hardware today I noticed there is no internet connectivity. I cannot even reach the router itself via the...

Re: HOW TO: Install ReactOS on Gigabyte GA-D510 Motherb

I'm currently testing ReactOS .4.7 RC1 on the Gigabyte GA-D510 Motherboard and have found that while ReactOS installs correctly as per my original article, on a number of occasions it will not copy files as it should. For example, when installing the Ethernet Adapter driver, all seems well except th...

Re: MB Internet Driver

Its a "Realtek High Definition Audio". I've downloaded several versions of the installation package and none of them install...they all lock up. I'm having similar problems with my Gigabyte mainboard with Azalia codec. I almost go there with this driver: http://www.techspot.com/drivers/dr...

HOW TO: View OutputDebugString output

Programs call OutputDebugString() to display debugging information. To view such output, the following programs have been tested in ReactOS 0.4.2 running in a Windows 10 HyperV machine: 1. Version 4.8.1 of the well-known SysInternals dbgview.exe. Works well. 2. Version 1.2.0.4 of DebugView++ works, ...

The version that comes with Windows 7 Enterprise. When I start ReactOS 0.4.2 the last thing I see is "Loading boot drivers ..." and then nothing. ReactOS 0.4.0 installed without problems.

Note that ReactOS 0.4.2 won't boot in Virtual PC. It does boot correctly in HyperV though.

Re: Networking: Streams Drivers group and RRAS

Also, will Routing and Remote Access be appearing in ReactOS anytime soon? Chris. VNC was working ( see here ), but the last time I tested it a few weeks ago, it was in regression. If you were thinking of RDP, then there is a Jira issue here for this to be implemented. I cannot help you any further...

Does anyone know if a hooking network driver such as the WinPkFilter (NDISRD) can be made to work under ReactOS? Reference Platform for Testing

I would like to suggest that the developers choose a Reference Platform and that each release be tested for functionality on that platform (even if special hacks are required to ensure that functionality). The choice of particular board will almost certainly be controversial, but I would suggest a s...
