Spanish Translator Available

I'm pretty fluent in Spanish (including technological terms), and I have good free time. I can help translate the website or ReactOS itself, if you're interested just tell me where to start.

Re: [IDEA] Hotspot functinality

Also, you can't "steal" code if it's under a free & open source license. ReactOS already uses code from many other free & open source projects, without their direct involvement.

Re: Blog: Network development branch

I know it would be more work, but wouldn't making our own TCP implementation remove all abstraction layers?

EDIT: Unless you're talking about the Hardware Abstraction Layer...

Re: Blog: Patching Patches and Testing Tests

Doesn't the WINE Project still reject contributions made by ReactOS developers?

Re: Blog: Translatable emptyness and Long-winded Shortcuts

Most people cannot find RAPPS easily. Maybe we should add some more shortcuts for that too.

Re: Blog: Translatable emptyness and Long-winded Shortcuts

In an ideal world, I would suggest working on WIE to make it look and work like IE6, throw in a modern engine (maybe Webkit/Blink?), and maybe add tabs below the address bar. Realistically, I would recommend adding the shortcuts to Internet Explorer in the Desktop, Quick Launch and Start Menu, so pe...

Re: Does the ReactOS project get any money from OSDisc.com?

The site distributes CDs for lots of Linux distros. I guess they just found this and added it to their catalog without digging much. Also, it is in the category of "Software for Old Computers", which may imply they believe ReactOS is abandonware.

Re: Blog: Post-Incrementing the C

I guess programing just got a lot more convenient, and the shell only got a little slower.

Re: EPIC WIN!

Now I wish I had a PC to test my copy of Need for Speed Underground 2 on ReactOS.

I got 7-Zip to work fine (except for the address bar) back in 0.3.16. Gotta fix VirtualBox and try with the current version.

Re: 0.3.17 Released

Updating VirtualBox resulted in all virtual machines (new or existing) failing to open with an error "Unable to load R3 module", apparently due to this: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/13504 ... num_hist=1

Nope, Windows. Attempting to update from VirtualBox returns an unknown error. Going to manually uninstall it and install the current version.

Re: 0.3.17 Released

Er, no, which version of vbox. And if it doesn't work the first time, retry and what configuration. The default options for me worked out of the box. The latest version. 4.3.12 r93733. Tried default settings and also changing many, but still doesn't work, gets a black screen before showing language...

0.3.17 release, downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/projects/reactos ... p/download

Latest SVN build (25272) works fine on the same VM.

Re: 0.3.17 Released

When I attempt to install on VirtualBox, it only shows a progress bar and says "Loading boot drivers", then goes to a black screen.

Virtual Machine is default Windows XP 32-bit settings.
