Alright, so I re-created your VM situation and discovered a few things. First, you set up the VM as a Windows 2000 guest. Did you use the Boot CD or the Live CD? How did you configure the VM prior to installing? Did you look here? https://reactos.org/wiki/VMware FWIW, I've never had great luck with ROS in ESX... yeah nothing in there, it's almost as if "explorer.exe" or whatever similar ReactOS process isn't...

(Solved) Get Desktop and Mouse but thats it.

Hello all,

I've booted 0.4.9 up in vmware exi 6.0.0 (3029758) and all I get is the desktop and the mouse moving.

Ctrl-alt-del does nothing, so I'm a bit lost as to what to do next

I did search before posting, but nothing really jumped out.
