Re:
I really don't like dotgnu, mono is much better, but I'd like to see one of them integrated into the system. This is why we have the downloader, as soon as they work they will be included there for anyone to install. Later we probably will be able to be able to choose between some standardized inst...

Re: ROS from a Boot Drive?
SpoonmAn is right, until we have sufficient USB support we woant be able to install to a USB drive, but ReactOS will support USB as boot drive in the future, so you will be able to install and run ReactOS on a thumb drive.

RDP Client side ready.
There has been thoughts about this for many years but because of lack of support from kernel and friends not much can be seen until 0.3.4 when the client side app mstsc.exe was released and the support for log-in was implemented before that. Now when the kernel and other parts of the OS has come to ...

ReactOS on EEEPC
Well, it will not only be possible to install ROS from USB, but also it will be possible to install ROS on a USB drive. This will enable us to boot and run ROS from an external drive like an extra OS not affecting any setting on the primary drive much like a live cd works but without the downsides o...

Autoupdate
Yes, an autoupdate system will be needed in the future, I don't know how this is going to be done, but something like your suggestion will probably be the solution.
Perhaps it will be a part of the download application.

0.3.5 will release in April.
Well, the 0.3.5 will probably be released in April, so with our new stable way of keeping the trunk and all trunk-builds offered I think a 0.3.4.1 would be overkill.

Explorer is under rework
Hi, and welcome to ReactOS! Explorer is under a complere rewrite, the aim is to make it like the MS dito. We have problems with our present explorer because it doesn't support all the stuff windows explorer does, some say it causes a lot of the hangings we have in reactos now, I'm not sure about thi...

ReactOS will be bootable from USB in time...
ReactOS will be bootable from USB in time, but as oiaohm said the USB stack needs to be working before we can even think about booting from it. First there will be support for Mouse and Keyboards, but then USBsticks and drives will probably follow.

Game DVD:s including ReactOS
One that caught my attention was a "Gaming Mode". Now I don't know if ReactOS would ever need something like this (since it's meant to be light and fast), but it still could be useful (like how sometimes people end Explorer.EXE for a little more head-room). Ones ReactOS is stable enough a...

ReactX for NT would be cool
Well, I think ReactOS add ons for all NT versions would be cool. Just imagine what NT4 with ReactX plus some wrapper to add up the GDI32 and the Win32k that is needed to make it work and be able to run really new software on that old OS. Or think about adding ROS Terminal Server to a WinXP Home edit...

I have a fully working 486DX at 33 MHz, Cirrus Logic ISA VGA with 1MB and VESA extensions in its bios and a 255 MB harddisk, but I cannot test ReactOS on it because that PC cannot boot from CD-ROM. It must boot from floppy or harddisk first... You'll need at least 23M ram in your computer for React...

Firstly, I want to say that this project is really great and I am waiting each new release !... Thanks for your encouragement. ...But there are some issues that I don't understand : I don't know how the drivers are implemeted into Windows, but as Reactos is design to run with windows drivers, you &...

Our condolaces!
I feel sorry for your miss, loosing data isn't fun. However, dualboot a computer with an alpha stage OS isn't recommended unless you don't care about the information on it or know exactly what you're doing.
My recommendation is that you run QEmu or VMWare instead.
