Re: liveusb grub2 linux
1. Have you got a CD/DVD drive? 2. Are you only trying to run the livecd? You could try booting from ramdisk, see this Layman's guide . Be careful what do you. You could make your system un-bootable or corrupt your file system. It is better to use a second computer that you can dedicate to ReactOS, ...

Re: reactos priority? or mess?
In reply to LMH1. ReactOS is being developed to be compatible with with Windows XP/2003. The reason that Firefox 84 does not work, is because, like other software developers, they have dropped support for XP/2003. The software in the Application manager, has worked, should work and if it does not, t...

Re: PS/2 mouse not found
Have a read of this Layman's guide. It should give you all the information you require.
Should you resort to using ReactOS (log file) mode, the debug log will be found in C:\reactos.

Try with one of the latest builds and see if that works better for you.

To add an image, you need to be in the full editor, then look outside the editor at the bottom left, you should see 2 tabs [Options] [Attachments]. Click on the Attachments tab, then the Add files button.

Re: Deep Freeze or similiar solution
I have done for you what I have suggested that you do. Most software is like Clonezilla (suggested by MadWolf), but I did find something that may be more of what you had in mind. http://download.runtime.org/dixmlsetup.exe The above software installs in ReactOS but fails to run with "can't find ...

Re: Opening hive file failed! (after successful installation)
bootcd-0.4.15-dev-1336-gd6d5cae-x86-gcc-lin-dbg works for me using an HP Compaq ne6120 laptop. USB does not work, but that may change in future revisions.
So the only suggestion I can give, is to acquire a computer from the Windows XP era, or keep trying the latest revision, once every month.

Re: Opening hive file failed! (after successful installation)
I would try a re-install and see if that sorts the problem.
Try the latest pre-release build ReactOS-0.4.14-RC-51-g286bfe9-iso.zip, that may work.

Re: Opening hive file failed! (after successful installation)
If you can boot ReactOS in one of the modes, then open C:\freeldr.ini to see if the rdisk is set to 0 like so: SystemPath=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\ReactOS , for all the boot option you want to use. If you are unable to boot without being stopped by the hive loading error, then have a read...
