Re: Where can I download RosCMS
You can download RosCMS from the ReactOS SVN server.TecSoft wrote:Hey I reallly like RosCMS and I would like to use it on my site. Were can I download it from?
Visit the ReactOS Wiki, if you don't know what SVN is and how to download it via a SVn client:
http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/Subversion
http://svn.reactos.com/viewcvs/trunk/web/reactos.org/
Please download a windows subversion client like "TortoiseSVN" and read this wiki page:Okay I installed it on Windows. I am using Firefox 1.5 so when I click the link it says that SVN is not a configured protocal something like that. What should I do?
http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/Subversion
... and the svn client documentation.
If someone cannot download it via SVN he won't be able to use RosCMS anyway. There is currently no install wizard, etc. It's simple if you know how to edit a tiny php file (the config file) and how to use e.g. phpmyadmin to import a sql file. (RosCMS is currently not for beginner.)florian wrote:Maybe the requirements are too high to get the ROS-CMS as lots of people don`t have TortoiseSVN installed - or just ony for one download. So why not creating a zip-download?
WinME
The computer I use is Windows ME. So I can't download the GUI one. So I got the command line one. It works only that when I do svn co svn.reactos.org/trunk/web I can't scroll up in the command windo and see what it says. Can any one tell me the download link? (svn what)

You can use the following page to browse through the svn dirs (online):TecSoft wrote:The computer I use is Windows ME. So I can't download the GUI one. So I got the command line one. ... the "sql" and the "roscms" dir
Well, once I thought trying the ROS-CMS but then I thought it might be too complex for what I would need it and that I would like to know almost every single line of my webpage.frik85 wrote:If someone cannot download it via SVN he won't be able to use RosCMS anyway.
What I thought was that even if I would be a php etc. professionell and thus could use the ROS-CMS - maybe I don`t have a SVN-app installed or would like to install it for one download of ROS-CMS. And as the ROS-CMS is a great one, it would be a pitty.
But probably there are lots of advantages such as one is able to download only newest and corrected files instead of a whole bunch etc like you have to do with the phpBB2 board (or changing every thing manuelly)...
In fact I used Tortoise SVN only once so I can`t remember exactly everything...
And most important is of course ROS itself! (and everything else can be regarded as a nice bonus)
Include RosCMS
I think RosCMS should be included instead of the MS companyweb sharepoint service in the small business Server.frik85 wrote:If someone cannot download it via SVN he won't be able to use RosCMS anyway.
