"Log me on automatically (non-expiring session)"

Does this work now without any trouble?

I wasn't aware that there were any problems with it. Could you provide a little more details please?

If I used this option, all is fine for the first login.

But when I visited the page the next day, the forums said that "you cannot login because you are already logged in"
But I wasn't logged in....
In such a case, I must get a new passwort via email. Doing this every day is very annoying :)

Now, I don't use that option anymore... until it will work again.

You have to set the "multisession" setting on this page to "true" (and check also the other settings!):

... then it should work.

Well, there is one problem, but it's nothing new.
The forum sometimes forgets that I have visited some threads.. and marks them as not read.

This happens when you visit a thread, close your browser, within an hour open a new browser and check the forum again. It's a phpBB problem, not much we can do about it
