I've never heard of this magazine, but this is excellent news! Getting reviews into magazines is exactly what I've been pushing for the PR Team to work on. Apparently it sells 13 000 copies per week, so that's 13 000 more people who know about ReactOS!

i know right the more people that know the better if we're lucky we might even get a new dev come forth
its got a bit of history in there running the setup from start to finish i can help feeling from what i read though if there were more contact with with person who wrote the article during the time of writing there could have been so much more information included
you can normally find a magazine like this in whsmith in the uk
dont worry i will upload the article in full if someone can tell a good place to host images for free

Doesn't they have an online version?Maybe that can save you some uploading time.
In the other hand you should be sure that the review is under a shareable license or you could be violating copyright. :(

Do they have it on their web site or link to these repositories from their official site? If not

I read the article and it's more extensive than most I read before.
They also guide the readers to the places to get involved to the project and this is good PR.
It was quite nice to read, stated all the pro's at first and the cons after that.

Maybe somebody of the PR Team should contact the author or write a reader letter and say that HID-USB and Video-Driver Support is allready fixed. This were 2 of the Con Points.

Even the magazine looks nice dammit it wont be saled in Germany

;) Unless the magazine gives explicit permission to post them..we can't link them.

I'

Totally right ;).Even more, since yesterday I am writting a draft.I want to contact them asap.I think we should thank them about their time and effort, and also asking for some permission to hang the 6 pages of the review(or at least the first couple of pages).
I'm sure this is just the beginning of an iceberg ;)

Judge for yourselves:
With Linux distros becoming more and more advanced with each release (within a year the likes of Ubuntu will be seen as a mobile application on a smartphone that can hook up to a monitor, keyboard and mouse for a fully working desktop and or ZorinOS has a very Windows look but is still a stable Linux core), what's the point of ReactOS? It has already reached the point that it looks outdated, and even after 14 years of work on it, it's still not stable enough to accept a standard video card driver for an ATI Radeon without generating a BSOD. Why would we ever need to have a Windows looking and Windows feeling desktop when there's so much on offer from other sources?
In one of the answers from ReactOS team, stated earlier, "There are many people who do not like how *nix system behave or dislike the conventions used." This may have been apparent some years ago, but with the sudden rise of Android, ChromeOS and Ubuntu, the *nix operating systems have rapidly become a part of our daily lifestyles.

Great. At this rate we will need an "in the media" box on the home page. :D
 Please keep us informed on how the contact went vicmarcal. If they have a web site may be you can trade the permission to show it for a link from ROS home page to theirs.

May I proofread before you send it? (I mentioned my proofreading credentials in my PR Team application.) Since there's a chance that the letter will be published (do they have a Letters to the Editor section?) it would be good to ensure that there are no spelling or grammatical errors.
