Once Avast removes the supposedly offending file (wordpad.exe), the ISO won't work in VirtualBox.

Please report a false-positive to Avast, there is no other workaround if you use Avast.

I've uploaded a clean build. Could you see if the notepad lite issue is still there? Cause it really should not be with Thomas' commit merged in.
Test 0.3.15RC2

Installation process hung up at a stage (screenshot).
Windows 8 Pro 32-bit, VirtualBox 4.2.10.

After reset everything went almost successfully:

FF 19.0.3 gave out BSOD after install and accept as default.
It was set, but after start and acceptance I gave out. After reset and closing of a window of the browser on a default I opened successfully 2 pages, but in case of a set in address line OS I began to brake godlessly and on it everything ended.

I have tested in real hardware and I have found that the mouse does not respond.
Please keep the Windows classic 9x/2000 look and feel.
The layman's guides - debugging - bug reporting - compiling - ISO remaster.
They may help you with a problem, so do have a look at them.

Is there going to be an equivalent of http://www.reactos.org/wiki/Tests_for_0.3.14 ?

I'm sorry to bring up a debate that has been discussed in other threads, but why not declare this release 0.4.0? If all of these apps are working fairly well, it seems like we should begin the 0.4 series and start counting down towards beta. What is left to achieve that we want to have before 0.4?

With hall due respect, I think you should not hijack this thread but start an other one, if there is really need to.

No need to start a new thread, there are already plenty. An RC stands ready to become a final release. This is the last opportunity to rename it.

The version as is stands. This was discussed during the last meeting and the minutes will have some of the reasoning documented. The basic rationale is a few of us are uncomfortable with what appears to be subtle memory bugs that keep manifesting in nasty ways intermittently. We want a more thorough vetting of the codebase before we're willing to christian something 0.4, not only for PR reasons but also for respect reasons which will become apparent when the release actually happens.

I look forward to the official 0.3.15 release.

FYI, Avast had no problem with the RC2 ISO, so hopefully there will be no issues when 0.3.15 becomes official. Great job to everyone on the dev team!
