Of course, you can update your ReactOS installation.

But after the update it would not be Vgal build anymore, since the update process replaces all system files and drivers.

And you wanna update with a version which does not install on your hardware? See the flaw in logic there?

You always can compile a new iso with vgal's patches, don't be afraid to compiling, is very easy

You could probably rebase his build to reactos/reactos but there would probably be conflicts it might be easier to just merge his PR with your own branch of 4.10-dev not sure how you do that though.

Is there better video driver support after "0.4.7" Because on this version made my vgal, after I install the video drivers for the PC, when I restart the systems screen turns blank after the Freeldr

Perhaps there were some recent updates for something ATI related but nobody has tested it and reported back as far as I know.

Nothing huge though so you'd just have to try it and see. I'd suggest creating a 2nd data partition in addition to your boot partition on your machine that way you don't have to copy stuff back on with USB each time.... and can test the non vgal builds more easily.
