Helpful Information?

It is on how to install eCS on the EEE PC. Could this be helpful in installing ROS onto the EEE PC?

Worth Waiting For
I think it would be worth waiting for.
It would be neat if one could install ROS onto a SD card and boot the EEE PC from it. 8)

ReactOS on EEEPC
Well, it will not only be possible to install ROS from USB, but also it will be possible to install ROS on a USB drive. This will enable us to boot and run ROS from an external drive like an extra OS not affecting any setting on the primary drive much like a live cd works but without the downsides of not being able to change any settings or save the work easily.
First however we must have a working USB stack and drivers to be able to do so, Fireball has made a lot of what is needed, but it isn't ready, so if someone needs a challenge to prove thay you are manly, you are welcome to take a bite out of it.
This is written on my new XO computer that hopefully also will run ROS in a not too distant future.
Warning: very large jpg images of my XO running Autodesk Inventor on a Windows Server using RDesktop.

This has nothing to do with this thread, so don't comment it. This is just pure enjoyment for a sys freak.

some sites making a bootable usb drive
http://www.google.com/search?q=bootable ... =firefox-a
Google results for "bootable usb drive". If the sd card is like an usb drive (to the EEE PC, then these sites could be useful in making a bootable sd card?

Win Compatible
Since ReactOS is win compatible and does not take up much space, it would be fast and one could run different win programs on it. 8)
Being a little bit of a non-conformists, ROS is different.
