Hello,

Don't worry, if ReactOS reaches the desired windows compatibility, you'll be able to install all the eye candy kits available for the Windows XP, such as Themes, Ubericon, Win Flip etc...

Why not wait for an OS that works first? Fancy look is definately not the problem here... If you want a free OS with a fancy look, get Ubuntu or something.

FYI, the Design Forum has long been the home of threads that start off with "The Windows 2000 look sucks" and end up as massive flamewars about which look is the best (2000, XP, Vista, Other). Have a look around there.

As you all know ReactOS is far from being complete. So if you post your Ideas/demands or anything else Design related here, don't expect it to be used in the near future. ReactOS has its priorities and before we don't reach a certain percentage of Windows Compatibility and stability, we won't invest very much resources into look and feel. But this does not mean, that we won't accept your help in GUI related problems to fix bugs and make potential ideas in here work. Additionally feel free to Brain Storm in here in a polite way and maybe support us by makeing nice Sounds, Graphics, Skins etcetc for ReactOS.

i pull my words up

thank to all for replay

i will try this os after 5 years
maybe i will see some new start

thank for aaaaaaalllllllllllllllllll

@OP
"Good looks" whatever one would be, is not universal. Everyone has his own. Dont expect that yours is shared by everyone else.

One Solution for this, implementing KDE for Windows in Reactos.. open source for open source (BOTH FOSS)

Not gonna happen. If you want KDE, then you can install it yourself.

You think, OSes from Programmers aren't looked well.
1. A programm needn't be looked well. It must work.
2. KDE or Gnome are looked well.

Don't say, Open Source OSes aren't looked well.

The developers will not bundle KDE with ReactOS. If some enthusiasts will make and maintain it, then no problem.
