Personalized USB-Sticks
Now that usb-support is on the way and soon to be merged into trunk, i envision my very own usb-stick with reactos on it.
And when i do i don't want just an ordinary stick. Does anyone know of an online service where yolu can order your own personalized flash-pen, with ractos-color -logo -form?
That would also be an perfect way for promotion: i know of purchable sticks that already contain an bulk of opensource softwar, and some with preinstalled linux.
Just imagine a small 1gig usb stick with reactos on it and still have plenty of free space. you can't do that with windows, you'd need al last 32gb for that....
Hell even a 256mb stick would fit...

That's AWESOME! As long as prices can be reasonable (which for me means < $50 USD) I would definitely buy one!
I like the Arbor and Sentinel designs myself.
EDIT - Note that Sentinel glows when plugged in.
EDIT 2:
I just found this link: How to boot from USB if your computer doesn't support it. Thought I'd post it here since I found it useful.

Perhaps one could put the ROS logo on a round one? There seems to be a variety of shapes to choose from.

Re: Personalized USB-Sticks
I am debating, whether that usbdirect account constitutes spamming.
Re: Personalized USB-Sticks
I am not trying to spam, I do have a genuine interest in ReactOS and came across this post. I saw all of these other companies listed on here and figured I would add the link so people could check out some of the stuff we do.
I can remove the link if it's going to cause an issue.

I don't think it's a problem. Your last post confirmed that you are no spambot at least ^^
But PR for other companies is a bit... frowned here.

ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Shame on you Webunny! That is not called for!Webunny wrote:Except Thorium....EmuandCo wrote:I don't think it's a problem. Your last post confirmed that you are no spambot at least ^^

Thorium will help ReactOS if it gets established, but 'usbdirect.ca' will not, unless they care to make a sizeable donation!
Please keep the Windows classic 9x/2000 look and feel.
The layman's guides - debugging - bug reporting - compiling - ISO remaster.
They may help you with a problem, so do have a look at them.

The parent poster said PR for others is frowned upon, and I said; except for thorium. Is there anyone denying that? No. Case closed.

Subtext, you know ^^
For all who don't know yet:
Thorium Group is Aleksey Bragin, well known as our current Project Coordinator, and Steven Edwards was our former Coordinator and still is a loyal supporter of the Project.
Thorium IS ReactOS. And has a cool name
So... SUPPORT IT (See my sig)
