The "search" function of start menu and resource explorer was improved to a big extent in both Vista and 7.

@happy1460, Dave3434, etc:
Jonaspm is right. If you want to comment on/about a years-old thread, I suggest making a new thread and posting a link to the old one. That way you can still reference anything useful (quote it, if there's not too much), but people don't have to read through all the old/incorrect stuff just to see what you want to say.

Happy1460, why don't you post a link to the old thread in post #1 of this thread?
i don't remember posting anything here?

Page 1, you asked Z98 why we should not post on an old thread. I'm just making a suggestion - what you choose to do is your choice.

That's a joke, right? I didn't tell you to delete anything. I really have no idea what you're talking about in this thread. If you don't remember what you've posted, or what the topic is about, read the recent posts again. Having said that, this is way off topic. If you're confused by any of my posts, PM me.

Back to topic now or I will swing the hammer a bit!
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

If my post/reply offends or insults you, be sure that you know what sarcasm is...

Dave, no one here has any idea what you're talking about. When you use words like 'it' or 'that' with absolutely no context, at best you'll confuse people and at worst you'll irritate them. We can't read your mind so if you want to refer to something, you need to be explicit.

Let me try again. You write your messages with the assumption that we can understand you. Try writing your posts with the assumption that no one knows what you're talking about. It's what I do and it tends to help avoid people getting confused about what I am trying to say or what I am referring to.

I'll try to do better but i'm no author. spelling in detail isn't exactly my strong points just throwing that in there. :)
