Except the third ones these are not really suitable, Wallpapers need to be hi enough res, non grainy low contrast and not draw your eyes away from your window work. Many of these would make you lose desktop icons amongst the clouds
Wallpapers are a personal thing, but generally you need ones that are simple and pleasant, over the top just distracts you from doing whats important... like playing games
It may have been worth uploading these to image shack to make use of the ThumbNail option, full res images are a pain in free forum software, they don't auto fit to page. Try and reply and you'll see what I mean.

Re: default wallpaper ( blue sky :)
I like these, but I share the previous poster's view's that most appear too grainy, unless of course these are just intended as samples.
Now, a problem I see is that the first 3 might have copyright issues. The first appears to be a Windows wallpaper, but upside down. While I think the Teletubbies in image #2 are cute, there may be licensing issues. Image #3 seems to be a derivative of a standard Windows wallpaper image. Parody may be allowed as fair use under the law in some countries, but we'd be better off using known open source images.

There is another issue worth considering besides including backgrounds with releases - backgrounds used by end users to promote or demonstrate ReactOS.
I was actually just looking for some backgrounds to use in screen shots the other day. It is important that a background give an appropriate "feel" to go along with what is being demonstrated, if the background is visible. A collection of suitable publicly available screen shots for users to choose from would be helpful, but they need not be included with ReactOS.
Any downloadable screen shot should be fine to use in user submitted screen shots and videos.
In my opinion, backgrounds used for demonstrating ReactOS should give a professional feeling.
Here are a few backgounds I have discovered that I think look nice on ReactOS (these may not be the original sites I found them on):
http://nanosapiens.net/wp-content/galle ... j10dc5.jpg
A microscope view background that implies "science" and "technology"
http://www.freephotobank.org/v/building ... 1.jpg.html
A tall building that implies "business" and formality.
http://good-wallpapers.com/nature/4503
A very bright blue green nature image that implies "growth".
http://my.opera.com/Stolitsa/albums/sho ... e=52794382
A glass chessboard. Kind give the feel of "strategy"
http://good-wallpapers.com/nature/9115
A good general green nature background with even colors.
http://wallpaper-s.org/11__Atomic_Water_Splash.htm
An water splash that looks like an atomic explosion. Kind of fits in the with the typical ReactOS colors.
http://dragonartz.wordpress.com/2009/09 ... -vector-2/
A sci-fi abstract tehchno background (looks like something from Ghost In The Shell)
http://thithimimi.deviantart.com/art/Al ... -190156758
A cool greenish CGI alien reactor.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bliss_(location).jpg
A later photo taken of the location where the famous "bliss" background was.
http://good-wallpapers.com/nature/4839
A higher resolution version of that above-blue-sky background the OP mentioned.
There were a few others but it is too hard to find original sources (or even sources that aren't spam sites) on Google just by searching for filenames.
And just a random thought I discovered the other day: for the purpose of screen shots, the subject of the image should cover the entire image rather than just the center. The reason being is that the application will usually cover the center of the screen.
