ERROR_DBAD_FILE_FORMAT - Not a Valid Win32 Application
I am trying to run certain types of software in ReactOS this time I installed windows 7 games for windows 10 (it is an installer for classic windows 7 games so you can play them on windows 10) the install went through without a hitch but when trying to launch said games i get an error as listed above. i kinda am stuck i just think this is something that ReactOS doesn't have at the moment

ReactOS is not Windows 10 so why would you expect it to work at all?

If these are 64 bit apps, then you have a problem. If these are 32 bit ones, you could try a nightly and with some luck it might even work.
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

because react os is an operating system and it should understand the x32 or x64 instruction set giving me no as an answer does not explain to me why THIS doesn't workdizt3mp3r wrote:ReactOS is not Windows 10 so why would you expect it to work at all?
Re: ERROR_BAD_FILE_FORMAT - Not a Valid Win32 Application
The correct answer is that ReactOS only exists in 32-bit mode so far (there's however an on-going port to x64 being created at the moment). A second point is that, because ReactOS wants to be Windows-Server 2003-compatible, applications that specifically target newer Windows versions are most likely prone to not work.Dominator211 wrote:because react os is an operating system and it should understand the x32 or x64 instruction set giving me no as an answer does not explain to me why THIS doesn't workdizt3mp3r wrote:ReactOS is not Windows 10 so why would you expect it to work at all?
