Compiling the USETUP module standalone
Is it possible to compile the USETUP module without having to build the whole ReactOS source code? For example, I want to make code changes in the text-mode setup and it'd be a pain building ReactOS for every code edit I do.

Oh, I thought ninja would not let you building it. That's good.
The thing is, the actual code change I want to do is visual related and I must look at the said visual changes. The ninja will just build usetup as in a executable form and I don't know what should I do with it. Maybe if I copy usetup.exe to the ReactOS ISO image would do something?

You can replace reactos\system32\smss.exe with your modified usetup, yes.
However after you run "ninja bootcd" once, you can iterate on usetup and follow-up "ninja bootcd" runs should be fast.
