If you add the VMware Sound Blaster 16 audio device, then install the VMware Sound Blaster 16 driver from RApps, it should work in theory.

That said, I've tried it on my ESX server and can't get it to work since the server has no audio device to connect to. In VMware Workstation it may be more likely to work.

This is what I did, but the driver links on the wiki page are dead.

Tried that, still says "multimedia audio device", maybe I'm doing something wrong? Can you tell me step by step, how did you managed to make audio work?

Tried that, no audio devices to choose, and in the device manager it still says "multimedia audio device".

Check out device VID and PID identifiers in the Device Manager, and find appropriate driver using Google.

Either this one: https://devid.info/ru/p614109/Creative+ ... +%28WDM%29
or that one: https://devid.info/ru/p865065/Creative+ ... +%28WDM%29

And please tell us when you'll find out working driver. :)

On this link, on the bottom of the page you can see instruction. This instruction also applicable for ReactOS:
How to install driver with Device ID PCI\VEN_1274&DEV_1371&SUBSYS_13711274

1. First, find file that you need to download. Get the file and unpack source of archive to a directory.

2. In the device manager, select the device, drivers for which you want to install or update.

3. Right click on device node and select - update.

4. Select the directory with unpacked files in update drivers dialog wizard.
On first step you can temporarily unpack archive in any directory ("C:/driver/" for sample) it doesn't matter.

Oh, sorry, didn't noticed the instruction! And... Yes, it works! Now I have an audio in the ReactOS! Thank you both so much!

Tried the ones from this link:

The first one from the top, and they worked! (Didn't tried the other ones yet)

Thank you so much again!

I'm also interested, is there a point in using the "sb16" sound-card instead of the "es1371", does it have a different sound quality?
