a setup/unattended/update batchfile with progressbar

Post by Blackcrack »

a setup/unattended/update batch-file with
1x header,
3x description lines
1x applic=
3 x switchlines and a progress-bar from 0 up to 100%
it works with partnumbers and calculate the % out of "whole" and part-numbers
the fact=100
so 100%

i hope it is all well explain and understandable in the batch-file :)

maybe it is interesting for the one or other if he often install
reactos and need a couple of programs behind of install,
with this script can you install updates and programs with switches (unattended)
and all it is visualization via progress-bar and let see the execute file behind a
==^>^> thefile.exe
under the progressbar . The batch have 7 test-entrys and it's be able to test directly,
it makes nothing , only "ping 172.0.0.1 -n 10 >NUL" as emulation and function test.

i have it build up because the monthly updates from Microsoft, the msi-files
and have it collecting since last year, for this whole updates have i create this batch-file
but this can you also use for exe-files or other executed files where be able to start with switches :)
so, it is also a good tool to install all programs where you want install and have
possible to use switches like /silence or /q or /VERYSILENCE or how ever, can you let install all
in one slip . Also drivers where it is able with /s or /silence install or other switches..
however...
have fun with this tool and a good work.

if anyone want programming some as exefile with an ini (where be the entry on it)
where works also over samba and nfs
(without driveletters \\Linuxserver\and\the\path\bla.exe or .\this\underfolder\bla.exe)
or from an usb-stick for Administrators or users who often install the same crap,
could this as program with a Real Gui and progress-bar really pretty well )

best regards
Blacky
