install from USB cd/dvd drive?
If one can install ROS from an USB cd/dvd drive, it would be possible to install ROS onto the Asus EEE PC. I have an Asus EEE PC and the manuel shows how to install WinXP onto it using a cd/dvd drive (one must buy or have WinXP on a cd/dvd to install it but the drivers for EEE PC comes on a disc that comes with the computer).
I am still having fun with the Asus EEE PC. Perhaps one day in the future, I will try installing ReactOS onto it. 8)
There is another part of the forum that discusses the Asus EEE PC.

Walletex and REactOS?
http://www.walletex.com/default.asp
Could one install ROS onto this USB drive and either use ROS from it or install from it? It would be neat to see the ROS logo on it.
Could it be used to either run or install ROS from it?

Optical Illusinon
It was an optical illusion. It only appeared to be part of the other.

This might be better than the other one.

It seems multi-purpose. 8)

You don't get a very good idea of it from that angle. Presumably that's a standard-thickness USB attachment. So, is the card as thick as the attachment?
If so, it seems impractically thick. If not, then the shape is a bit funny, and gives the impression of being a bit fragile.
Either way, I don't think USB memory devices were meant to come in credit card size.
But I guess it will work with ReactOS about as well as any other USB flash drive.

OT; I think USB drives will (eventually) replace floppy disks. I think it is the future of portable storage.

Cost in USA
The cost for the Asus EEE PC 701 was about $400 plus about $35 for shipping and handling. 8) I bought it at Buy.com with Googlecheckout.com (IIRC on the URL's). 8) It is white. It has a webcam.
