I like it, but I also think the background is a little plain. Even some slight variations (nothing too obvious) would make it nicer to look at while keeping it simple. Just my $0.02. Again, I do like it.

Maybe it's even good. Somebody complained about the cross-like letter t in the current logo. Also, they objected to using the word daemon in the OS (it is now service).

The Logo looks interesting, so I experimented with the boot logo to see what would happen. I was going for a minimal approach, showing a smaller version of the logo without any text around it except for the copyright information. This plays homage to the current Vista/7 boot screens as version 3.11 of ReactOS played homage to Windows 3.11 in terms of it's boot screen.

Unfortunately, the boot splash image shown below is larger in size and takes longer for the image to appear on the boot screen.
