Set of icons sugestion

In order to mantain icons from the same style, here is a sugestion. The window style is a sugestion too.

yeah... the icons are not the beeeest one, but i think they are better than the actuals.

We're currently looking into a full set of temperary icons.

CerealMax, could you link to a PNG instead of a BMP? PNGs are compressed, and they download a lot quicker.
That BMP is 1.26MB, but can easily be compressed down to under 25KB as a PNG. That's more than a 98% decrease.

well i can do better but... reactOS will support better icons in 640x480 and 800x600, smooth effects, 24 bits of color with alpha, only 16 colors will be nice?

No, those are not from my work, but are samples from what can i do to the icons, but... reactOS will accept them? it will be a waste of time if reactos cannot support them...

All Icons should be SVG and converted either to Bitmap or Png. Reason Cairo (http://cairographics.org/) could be used to make a desktop a really nice desktop. Planing for a Vista desktop type we need vector based graphics.

Depending on load caused it might be better to use SVG as our main Icon form. Reason all icons could be rescaled on demard then cached in Bitmap or Png.

I know you posted icon guidelines... But the icons he posted were great, with a very professional touch. I didn't know that he didn't make them himself.

BTW, I think you should accept other artists, because there is a lot of icons to do and if you're alone it will take a lot of time.
That's why I said that, if he can make a set of very professional icons, he should contact you.
