Hey guyz, use the search function before posting !

This has been discussed 10 days ago !
DriverPacks.net project going open source 3ad (by me, of course) 8)

...anyway, i searched their forum and "reactos","react os" and "ros" words never appeared... why don't you spread the our cause there ? (Don't ask us what we can do for you, but ask yourself what you can do for us)

And now the idea:
I'm a driverpacks user and i noticed that some drivers are becomed "static" (in other words, no more updates) and others (such as Nvidia and ATI) are frequently updated.
I think that "static" driver could be open sourced...

It also would be great to have a "Porting drivers guide", such as the Syllable one...

***UPDATE***
There are something interesting 3ads about drivers @ MSFN Forums > Microsoft Operating Systems - Software Discussion & Support > Windows 95/98/98SE/ME

...and here's the nouveau : Open Source 3D acceleration for nVidia cards

Well, it could be interesting to have something like BeDrivers: it's a good base to invite driverpacks.net contribs to work on open drivers...
